When Abra Safe was developing the Panther Security, we had identified that the majority of potential security door customers were heavily restricted by choice due to exorbitant prices placed on the stainless steel security products available. While the stainless steel security mesh products were higher quality than conventional, ugly bars and grilles, there seemed to be a monopoly on being able to charge prices for stainless steel which put many potential customers out of reach. We understood that in order to decrease the gap between costs associated with the overpriced stainless steel products on the market and the 7mm diamond grille market, Panther security needed to be innovative in both design and manufacturing. Reducing costs is often associated with making a product cheaper by reducing the quality which can impact on the integrity of the product. Panther Security have been able to create a system that is not only more economical to manufacture, but actually improved the strength compared to other products offered on the market. The result being a double advantage to the customer in that we can offer a product that is now arguably the best performing stainless security door system on the market today and at a cost of up to 30% less than other leading brands.

It is safe to say that Panther Protect can offer security that outperforms other leading brands for up to 30% less cost which is now making a premium product more affordable to those families who were priced out of the market while there was a pricing monopoly going on.
How is Panther Protect so strong?
The strength of the Panther door is directly attributed to the ingenious design of the load locking leg located on the inside of the door and window frame. Most of the other products on the market today need some sort of mechanical fixing method whether it be screws, rivets, or a combination of wedges / clamps with some sort of fixing mechanism. Unlike these other products the Panther Security system has a load locking leg. When the stainless mesh is inserted inside the frame, the entire perimeter of the mesh is held onto by a leg that acts like a vice whenever the door has any impact. If the door or window experiences a force strong enough to engage the load locking let onto the mesh, the more the impact, the greater the vice like grip occurs, causing the mesh to be held in tighter and tighter. On the contrary, other security door products start to weaken from the first impact whereas Panther Security actually increases in strength. Very simple but very effective.

Is the screen fly-proof and mosquito-proof?
Yes, The aperture of the woven mesh is small enough to replace the necessity of a flyscreen.
How long is the warranty?
Panther offers a limited 10 year warranty for 316 marine grade stainless steel mesh and a 2 year limited warranty for the galvanised wire mesh. Warranty is valid when the maintenance schedule is adhered to in conjunction with the use of Panther Wash.
What kind of impact are Panther Protect screens designed to withstand?
Whilst there are Australian standards that have been set so doors and windows that are sold as “security products” comply to these requirements, Panther’s results speak for themselves. The results the Panther Door and window system achieved were nothing short of amazing. Considering that we do not use 1 screw or 1 rivet to affix our mesh into the door and window frame, the results were 20 times the number of impacts needed for the dynamic impact test (100 vs 5) and 300% stronger than the dynamic impact test requires to meet Australian standards. The Panther Security has also passed the relevant debris test for cyclonic prone areas.

Do Panther Protect screens come equipped with locks?
Panther Security has developed its own unique locks which feature the only triple lock to offer 5 locking points. The combination of Panthers hinged or sliding locks and the load locking mesh retention design has made this a complete system without compromise.
